in Comrie provides ideal access to the munros Ben Vorlich, Stuc
a Chroin and Ben Chonzie. For the more adventurous Ben Lawers and
the Ptarmigan Ridge are amongst some of the mountains which can
easily be reached. The surrounding area also provides many local
walks and cycle routes from the door. Glen Artney and Glen Lednock
rise from Comrie and Glen Turret starts from above Crieff. Details
of local walks are freely available for guests at Rossal.

Visitor Attractions
Notable visitor
attractions within easy travelling distance include The Famous Grouse
distillery at Glen Turret, Golf courses at Crieff , Comrie and St.
Fillans (over thirty golf courses in the county) and various open
gardens.
The scenery of highland Perthshire is stunning whether you are fishing,
hiking, cycling
or simply putting your feet up. There is fishing at the Drummond
Trout Farm and on nearby Loch Earn where you can hire boats.
The whole area is ideal for biking.
Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre is a couple of miles from the village
and next door is the Highland
Falconry Centre where you can handle birds of prey.
Comrie is host to the famous Hogmanay Flambeaux Procession. Every
Hogmanay, the residents of Comrie don fancy dress and set off on
a procession accompanied by the Comrie Pipe Band. Led by bearers
of flaming torches the procession marches the streets to the four
points of the compass to ward off evil spirits.

Highland Games and the Drovers'
Tryst.
