Vane Farm
on Loch Leven is the place to watch wintering geese make their daily
flights. Pink-footed geese peak at over 20,000 each November. The
RSPB reserve at Vane Farm has an observation room overlooking the
loch, from which you may see many species of ducks, redshank, lapwings,
whooper swans. There is also a nature trail to see woodland birds
such as treecreepers, redpoll, siskins and great spotted woodpeckers.
