I draw and paint both birds and mammals. Most of my works are oil paintings but I have also included some of my watercolours. There are frequent updates of new pictures and I'll show you my current drawings and wildlife paintings using digital camera shots. Please come back every 2 - 4 weeks, I'm sure there will be some fresh images for you.

Jill and I have moved home. We are now located in Dalguise near Dunkeld in Perthshire, Scotland. Our new details are posted on the contact page. Allow us a while to get settled in then visit the site to view my evolving artwork.

I'm feeling inspired by the new surroundings and am looking forward to a new era of creativity. Watch out for an increase in my paintings featuring Scottish animal species and for more of my landscape paintings depicting the stunning Scottish scenery.

You can buy a painting by viewing my original oil paintings for sale and watercolours for sale or select a purchase at one of my forthcoming exhibitions. If you are ever in my region of Scotland contact me to arrange a viewing of artwork at the studio. New print releases are extending the range of prints for sale. Planned additions to this site include a shop button with an online credit card shopping facility.

The "on the easel" web page is used to share the creative process with my clients. Clients can follow the progress of their commission on-line and are sent an email whenever the page has an updated camera shot of their artwork. This idea is proving very popular and saving or printing the images of the developing painting from the web page adds a little extra to the provenance of the finished painting.
